Bulk SMS service or bulk message means sending SMS to one or more recipients via software/API/web platforms such as the one which Brand Craving provides to bulk SMS in India. Generally, Bulk SMS are of two types Transactional Bulk SMS & Promotional Bulk SMS.
Transactional SMS
| Used for OTP, API, Alerts, Notification Ex. OTP, Bank Transactions etc. |
| Transactional SMS can be sent any time, 24*7 (no time limit) |
| SMS will get delivered to DND + Non DND numbers. |
Promotional SMS
| Used for marketing, branding purposes. Ex. Sale, Offers, promotions, etc. |
| As per TRAI, Promotional SMS are sent between 9AM-9PM. |
| SMS will get delivered to Non DND numbers only. |
